Right now, my favorite blade for edc is the spyderco manix 2xl. That might change as I'm picking up both the 810 contego and schempp navaja. As you can read, I like bigger blades. Now if only I could track down a darn spyderco pm2 in the acu g10 with the black dlc blade!!!!!!!! Why can't I find one for $130 like they used to be priced at? :(

Pretty much this. I got a Manix 2 xl last Monday. It is awesome. Gonna buy a G10 manix and a para when I can find one.

Oh yeah... Duh... how did I forget? @thatotherguy just reminded me above, should list my Case Peanut! Most carried of all my knives, I Always have it, and it might still be my most used knife, since I carried it exclusively for so long.

My "best" EDC folder is probably a toss-up between my 4-blade camp knife (Camillus, Case, Ulster, or Wenger Soldier), and my Spyderco Pacific salt.

I have been trying a lot of Edc. knives. Benchmade, Zt, Spyderco, Boker, Ontario, etc etc etc... I ended with this one: Hogue Ex01 ...

My best and only EDC knife:

Victorinox Pioneer. Unlike the cowboys of old, a keyboard jockey like yours truly has absolutely no need for multiple blades on a daily basis. Screwdrivers, on the other hand...

for me it has to be a combo of two knifes and their combined capabilities. I work in an automotive repair shop. I daily need to cut open parts boxes and packages, slit wiring looms strip wire, trim and modify plastic pieces, cut thru belts and hoses, and so on. For me a big blade that holds an edge for a long time and can take some abuse in conjunction with a SAK or multi blade traditional with the sheep's foot blade that is sharpened to a scary sharp edge prove to be ideal. My Protech and ZT 200 as well as my Emerson have had a ton of pocket time lately. ZT 200 is pretty darn close to perfection for my large folder.

Spyderco Endura or Opinel No:12 for outdoor facilities. Victorinox Solo or Byrd Meadowlark 2 for daily carry.

Well I made it 12 days of carrying the Manix XL before I ordered the regular G10 Manix

Nothing on planet earth can hold a candle to a Victorinox/Wenger Alox folder...all the functionality of the cellidor draped red SAK's in a much sturdier version, that can and will survive a low intensity nuclear conflict with nothing more than a minor scratch.;)

It's all relative of course... depending on what you like and how much you are willing to spend on a knife. But as of today my top primary EDC knife picks would be:

    Chris Reeve Large Sebenza
    Rick Hinderer XM-18
    Spyderco Para Military2
    Benchmade 940
