    Unfortunately I can't wait any longer so I have to jump in for now, or I won't be able to touch a dace for at least the next 1-2 years! Hope it doesn't get too crazy.

    Edit: Aw crud. This one's CONUS only as well. Looks like I'm out. :furious:

    Indeed :p When Adam Smith came up with his invisible hand, he somehow forgot to account for Want and the fact that it will slap any hand out of the way in order to get at its preciousssss.

    Nope it was CONUS only, so I couldn't. It went for US$505 in the end, which is about where they're at right now I think - around $450-500 notes? Both would benefit from taking it in their own hands though, less fees.

    The search continues...I'll probably look into forwarding services this weekend. Most pieces are CONUS only and so out of my reach, but not for long. I'm not about to be limited by geography, of all things! :confused:

    The last dace I saw sold was for $475 in the Cove about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I thought that was a little on the high side, but I guess things change...

    It's on the high side. Only problem is, high side seems to be the trend. In March they were going for US$400, but I hadn't heard about Atwoods then. I don't know if the market would ever cool for this tool, though I'm guessing if it does it would probably only be fleeting:frantic:

    Sweet, you too! The Ghost is noticeably heftier right off. Raw bar isn't as pronounced as say the Wrunt but it is very nice.

    Sounds good! I have already been thinking whether treating it with some tool or gun oil might give it an even more distinct finish!
