Darn. Maybe I should have emailed him too. Thought it'd be fun to collect all versions that came from the same batch - Vintage, Light Vintage, and "Shiny" :p

What's this one called? It looks like a baby pest. Love it!

I have a CONUS shipping address, Frank. And if you see one you want, PM me and I'll get it to you. I'm in Toronto.

No problem. It'll take a little longer than the normal route, as it goes through some family in Washington State. But at least you can get whatever Atwood you want from those US guys who are so reluctant to ship outside their own country. Never understood what the problem is for them, everyone else on earth seems to have no problems shipping internationally. I've bought and sold things from people in Germany, Australia, Argentina, Italy, Taiwan, China, HK, Spain, Portugal, UK, AND the US. No problems.

I'm up near Toronto too and most people seem happy to ship up here if you shoot them an e-mail. I've never understood the conus especially in our BST for Non-Atwood stuff. Why would you limit your market like that?

I will keep that in mind, thanks so much! I have also only good experience with international shipping so far but some online shops and sellers simply don't offer it...

Heckuva way to start your collection... Does the blade make it hard to use the cap lifter? I wonder about that on this and the shark tooth

I would love to get hold of something along the lines of the ghost/keyton/atwrench (or perhaps a weevil...) as a basic EDC tool - there are many equivalent but I just love the style and design of the atwoods.

On the other hand I could never justify spending that much money on something like that, if I could find something suitable for sale.

I know there are many copycat type options out there, but somehow none that have designs that capture my imagination in the same way (the shard and friends for example).

Back to drooling over pictures here instead ;)

Sorry. Seriously, I don't know. I haven't had a beer this Millenia. And wine doesn't come with a bottle cap. Although, that would be awesome. If you're ever in ten, come by with a six pack. You can try them all. :).

No, I used mine just today and the blade doesn't hit the cap at all.

Would a gold, titanium pest hold up ok as a user? I've never had a titanium tool before and want to know how well it will hold up to opening up LOTS of adult beverages?
