The 'Real' Makaveli [Machiavelli] would not have said or written that ..

Machiavelli's basic philosophy, set down in his book, The Prince, was in order to achieve and maintain power, the end justifies the means so that there can be no consideration for morals or ethics.

Nice thing about Monsters is that they tend to be under-priced as a watch line, considering what you get. The red might be just right though.

A NOS Seiko diver from "Apocalypse Now", the 6105. Stylish, but not with an artificial luxury price tag.

My grail had always been the Rolex GMT Master II...much to my astonishment, my wife surprised me with it as a gift on our wedding day. Now my focus has shifted to a SS Daytona.

I've got way to many great watches including an Omega Seamaster, Rolex Submariner, Tag Monaco, U-boat left Hook, Bathys Hawain Titanium and my current favorite is a Bell & Ross.

My Submariner is the go to watch if abuse is going to happen, worn it for 20+ years and it's been in the shop twice once for a broken mainspring after 15 years and once to have cement chipped off after a sculpture took more hands on than expected.

Wow! I'm guessing your heart is content. Mine wants a Seiko Spork for now. Thankfully I can afford that if I save up a bit.

Me too. I will one day own one. It just seems like the right one hasn't come across me at the right time. It's at the top of my "reachable grail."

For a real world watch (meaning relatively affordable), I'd go with an IWC Portuguese 7 Day, or even a Dornblueth 99.3 ...but oops the thread specified one so I'll stick with Schaffhausen (IWC).
