I don't have a camera, so this is not my pic. Mine has a white face. This pic is from an auction site, Terapeak.com; the watch is a used one. They describe the retail price at $2000. Back in the 80's I know US price retail was about $1000; HK price was $500.

I'd forgotten. The watch is actually a Mariner SG.

But I figured this might give an idea...

Should not have done it. Sent off a money order for a custom Invicta 8926. It supposedly runs perfect.
It is auto and hand wind and hacks so even if not perfect it should be good.

It and the Orient will be the stars of my collection.
The pay situation is going to change. I may not be able to get money orders as easily now.
Need a handful of Nato straps for what I already have!

Always had my eye on an Omega Speedmaster, ever since reading so much about the space missions. Alas, I'm on a Gshock budget, although it's fun to imagine.

Have you thought about the bulova moon watch? Not quite as cheap as a g but cheaper than a speedy. I love my speedy but I want one of those bulovas.

Didn't know about those. Definitely a more attractive price. Thanks!

You guys have some amazingly nice and high end watches, my desires are rather pedestrian. The ONE watch I've wanted for a long time (decades) is the Seiko giugiaro SCED035, for those not familiar its the Aliens Ripley watch. I really wish I had got when when there were are 350. Now they're almost $1k. I've also have been trying to get a good condition Seiko memo diary. The old 80's watch that had the QWERTY attachable keyboard.

Not going too high end I don't think, well to me any way. I want to get a G Shock GWG-1000 Mudmaster fell in love with that beauty the first time I saw it. Even considered trading my other G's for one just so I didn't have to spend the monies for a new watch just to keep the wife happy.

Pics or it didn't happen. Actually, I'm also considering one but concerned about the size and just want to see a pic. Congrats.

I've made the mistake of looking into microbrands and such lately.

Not a good idea. Some lovely stuff out there.

None in particular really, just a lot of nice stuffs.

I need to get the crystal fixed on my Spork. Probably a good time to upgrade to a sapphire like Ive been meaning to. But I've been wearing this thing pretty much exclusively for what...six years now? I can't be without it for that long.

I'm thinking the only way I can lessen the pain is buy something to wear while it is gone.
