I hadn't heard of Texas Tool Crafters. That Ironwood Charge is spectacular, but far more money than I'll spend on a multitool. The orange Wave is much more reasonable (and orange).

I am In Australia and bought a charge tti from Texas tool crafters, cane through customs over here without any problems, the quality is great and it's nice having something special, i have since put one of their damascus blades on it too. Very nice tool. One of my friends also got the Gold plated skeletool from them, he works in it support at a university and loves pulling it out to work on computers and stuff, it always draws a positive reaction

I've bit the bullet and got the orange wave from Cabela's, a Juice XE6 for non work carry and a charge TTi. I was going to get the TTC blue anodised charge, but have decided to try and heat ano them myself in the hopes of getting a spectrum/rainbow pattern on them.

Once I've decided if I like the wave or not, I think I'm going to more than likely get a black and gold ones for special occasions and use the orange one as a bit more of a hard user.

Don't forget you'll need to make paracord lanyards for each of them before the photos..............:frantic:

Slightly OT, you were talking about thin cord in the other thread for bracelets? If you search on UK amazon there is a paracord supplier called wild elk there. Go to the shop front store thing page and you find they sell some type 1 cord (2mm).

Oh yeah, I've come across them before for 550 cord.
Places to go, people to see, lanyard to make!

And, of course, you'll need to put a bead on each of the lanyards ... So, there's another trip you go on: off to Internet shopping land.

Yeah, yeah, we know: this way leads madness! But, seriously, a bead will give some heft to a lanyard and make it easier to grasp and ... OK, I'm grasping for reasons. Maybe, 'just because' is a good reason?

Oh yes beads are a must have on lanyards. There's a very nice EDC member in Wales who makes the best ever beads.

Did anyone mention buying a sharpening system for the blades, and a strop? Don't forget some light oil for the MTs too, got that yet?

What else is there? What have we missed?? :)

I've got a lansky turnbox that I quite like. Going to have to go bead shopping now aren't I?

    Lordy. You're all teasers.

Lanyards work great but shouldn't you be making sheaths for all of them also?
