For real, I was just going to buy a wingman and be done with it but aww shucks, go hard or go home right?!

What's your favourite multitool? Man I'm going wild as soon as I get this months pay, excitement!

I actually don't carry a MT on a regular basis. I haven't found a need for it. I have one in my bug out bag, just a military issue leatherman.

Ah right, cool, no point lugging the weight if you don't use it enough to justify it! I only have a Squirt at the minute but I use it ALL the time so I'm thinking I may as well make my life easier and go to a full size. Leaning toward a charge TTi at the minute I think, with a bit kit and extension for the bit driver. But the orange wave at Cabela's is also tempting. :frantic: maybe I'll just have to get one for each day of the week…?

I got a gerber dime for a sweet deal, but it sits in my desk at work...haven't needed it yet! What do you do that you need a multi tool? Yes, anything in orange is always tempting to me!!

I've got a Cabelas within an hour of my house. Let me know if you want one picked up. (Assuming they have one in stock, of course.)

My bedroom is orange. I mean, I need a pair of sunglasses if I'm in there for more than an hour but I love it! I work in retail so I'm always using pliers, screwdrivers (mainly Phillips and flathead but occasionally others), the blade and scissors always come in handy, I'm also a glasses wearer (when I run out of contact lenses!) so a eyeglass screwdriver is always a bonus! I often find myself in some wildlife situations as I'm a photographer also, so I pretty much do everything a hunter does, only I shoot with my camera not a rifle! :)

Oh for real? I'd really appreciate that, I'll let you know!

I'm thinking I might have to get a Wave. And a TTi. And maybe a juice too. The more I look, the more I want! Texas Tool Crafters have Wave's in loads of colours, I now not only want an orange one, but also a blue one, a green one and a purple one…oops!

Oh yes, and a gold one of course.

Gonna investigate on the Cabela's website tomorrow and see what funds I can afford to splash, but for now it is 1am on the British side of the pond and I must be up for work in 5 hours time so I really should stop stalking everyone's EDC…

Leatherman's are pretty pricey in the UK but I thought sod it and pulled the trigged on a Juice S2 a few weeks ago. Best decision ever. It's currently 63.99 with 20% off, free shipping too. :)

I did originally want the Wingman too, however the locking blade put me off as I wanted something I could carry legally.

That's why the more I debate it, the more I want a juice. I think my line of work would justify a Charge TTi or Wave but I'd also like something for regular old civvy carry.

I think you can prove that it's justifiable for your line of work then it's okay. It does depend however, on the officer that questions you. I've never been stopped by the police in my life and I look like a stoner! :p I guess as long as you're not waving it around in public and it's in your bag during commuting, no one is going to know it's there. If you feel you're going to need the heavy duty capabilities of the Wave or Charge then go for it, but if the legality of it holds you back, then perhaps it's best to stay inside the law.

Okay, so I think I'm just gonna have to play the "go hard or go home" card…
Going to use a chunk of my savings for a bit of fun and buy a Charge TTi, Wave AND a Juice.

Excuse me while I run around the garden like a small child making whooping noises at this decision.

You may want to read up on this thread, some good ideas on out of the box legal MT's for the UK and some modded MT's.

    http://edcforums.com/threads/need-some-help-to-find-a-uk-legal-multi-tool.107861/

BTW, I absolutely LOVE my Charge TTi, and I regularly pocket carry it. You won't go wrong if you buy one. The scales are removable, so if you decided to buy a stock one you could send the scales off locally to be powder coated or anodized, it wouldn't be hard to do. Just a thought!

Note: there are two locking blades on this model.

Day off today and have I done anything productive?

Err, trawled the internet looking at MT's so you can answer that one yourselves!

I'm thinking of the shopping list looking as follows
    1) LM Wave; either the orange Cabela's edition or a black and gold one from Texas Tool Crafters
    2) LM Charge TTi; either standard, TTC gold version or trying to find somebody who could anodise the scales, most likely in a rainbow finish
    3) LM Juice in granite gray, most likely the XE6

So to conclude, I have used about three hours of my life and have come to no solid conclusions.

Us women are so indecisive ;)

C.Boland93: research is part of the fun of EDCing. It takes as long as it takes. Enjoy.

When it comes to buying gear, being a woman has nothing to do with being indecisive.:p

Hahaha this is true! Although you would've thought when I have decided to buy THREE multitools, I'd be able to decide which ones! ;)
