Just got the Merkava trit vial for the Tec Isotope fob I got from the forum store.

Question is... Is there supposed to be what looks like a tiny white plastic bead stuck in the hole in the bottom of the cylinder?

Is it to hold the tritium vial in place?I only own a few of the lantern style.

It's pretty darn small, not sure I can get a good pic. I'm thinking that it's a leftover from the finishing process.

I bought the trit vial, the 3 x 23mm or whatever that's fits the Isotope, nothing to do with the lantern style (I wanted minimalist).

update: This is the best I could do:

I bought an isotope about a month ago and there was nothing in hole at the bottom of the cylinder. The trit slid in easily, I put the plug on the top, installed the split ring, and it has been perfect. Can you push the plastic bead out? It sounds like something that should not be there.

It's in there pretty good. I thought it best to ask before punching it out.

It sounds like grit from the bead blasting process. Try pushing it out. If you have a problem, PM me and I'll take care of it

I will start checking them to make sure there is nothing like that in any of the rest of them.

    Now THAT is customer service!
A lot of other dealers would just go "meh. whatever. they get what they get."
