The o-rings I used are 8 mm inner diameter x 1.5 mm cross section. I was quoting outer diameter, which should have been 11 mm (11.5 mm was a mix-up between 11 diameter and 1.5 cross section). My bad. :frantic: I am waiting on some body-art clear o-rings of various gauges; should arrive Friday, I'll report what works best.

The same size O-rings for Hinderer Investigator pens also fit these perfectly. A 0 gauge glow ring was too thin for the slots in mine. And it's a direct drive light, so a qtc pill carefully placed behind the last battery, will allow these to ramp up from <1 lumen to the full 25.

I had to look all that up! I guess I need to start learning about lights, etc! Where can I get the O-rings?

SMAJ I got a pack at Lowe's for like $3. I can't remember exact size, but I simply used what was leftover in a package, that I had bought last year for my Investigator pen. I'm pretty sure it's 3/16ths, as 1/4" was too 'proud" on the Hinderer. Here it is on my work keys.

    Thanks TEC!
25 is very respectable, more than I expected!

Yeah I see what ya mean... The average Joe probably looks at a light package and goes "what the heck is a lumen??"

When my Hinderer, AAA Cu Maratac, and Atwood T-Wrex arrived it was almost that exact situation. They arrived a few days after I left and then Inwas asked to work an extra week. I almost lost my mind waiting to get home to them.

I got my Pixel a few days ago and I'm loving it. It is so much smaller than any light I've used on my key ring. It makes the keys in my hand a smaller, lighter package. I responded to the article in the TEC Accessories newsletter and didn't realize they were selling it here so I wasn't able to give EDCF credit. Very sorry about that. I will still carry a stronger flashlight in my purse for back up when I need a stronger throw. But for keychains I think the Pixel is fantastic. Here are some comparison pics of the Pixel and other lights I've used on my key ring.

Got mine. Love it!! Time crunch, so quick photo to further impress just how small the Pixel is compared with common toothpick, a U.S. quarter and the Fenix EO1 (normally considered small, but massive compared to the Pixel).

Another well thought-out and unique product from TEC (atta boy Tom!). Sure to be popular (braces for sure, maybe Harvard, for the kids :D).

    Harvard? Ha!
Luckily I'm on the downward side of college. One already graduated and the other one next year. Of course then it's issues like a reliable vehicle, rent support, food, wait a minute, same issues as now! :frantic:

Living in the UK means you guys get to have a play with yours before me :(

Either way, I can see my key set up being lighter from this point :)

Hate to be bearer of bad news, but it ain't gonna change with time! 46-y/o daughter constantly reminds us she's independent. The reality, in actual practice, is far different. Turns out, independence is a state of convenience.:D

Ha! Thanks for the pressure :p

We may just do a special forum version for warm white as we really don't want to muddy the waters with a second version just yet. We have a lot of packaging issues to deal with, and I also don't think the masses will know the difference anyway.

But we can just make some quick and dirty "warm white" labels to differentiate them and release to selective audiences. Stay tuned...
