    Hi all,
today I would like to post here my feelings about a fleece I'm wearing since few days, the TAD Gear Ranger Hoodie. I'm wearing it both an outdoor fleece on the woods and an EDC jacket if the external temperature is below 18°C or so

The AD Gear Ranger Hoodie it's an high-quality, no-nonsense fleece ideal for EDC or outdoor activities. It's well cutted and plenty of pockets, so the comfort is top end. Yes, it's not on the cheap side, but it worth every penny I have spent for. I want to thanks here Heinnie Haynes for the great service, top-class as usual.

    Cheers, ciao
    Alfredo

I had a non-hoodie when they were available in close to my size. It was a bit too small so I ended up returning it. I am not a fan of the hood but may give one a try if the others don't land in the online shop soon in an XL. I have to agree that while pricey, it was a very nice jacket. Well made, lots of pockets.

I really like those new fabric zipper pulls. Would love to change my string ones out for something else, just not sure what to.

I have way to much TAD gear. It is all very well thought out and designed pieces. I use my Stealth Hoodie more since it is lighter and still very warm. The ranger hoodie is really nice also just kinda bulky and at this stage of the game still somewhat to warm to use also. The hoods on them are one of the best parts of them.

Been wanting a Ranger hoodie for some time now, thanks for the review! For someone who doesn't use a hood unless it's raining, sleeting etc. would you say that it would be better just to buy the Ranger Jacket instead of the hoodie?

Thanks to all of you, guys.

@TJ: yes, why not? If you don't use the hoodie the Ranger Jacket it's just perfect!

Tyler...the waterproofing built into it will keep you dry in light rain and snow /sleet. You could use the hood for that. It has a great hood that lays flat when not in use and it's very warm.

I thought I'd see what the hype was about and now have a the stealth hoodie, stealth LT and Ranger LT, I'm really pleased with mine and can wear them almost year round. The hoods lay nice and flat when out but would be great if they had pull cord elastic to adjust the sides if wanted.
I'm tempted to see how similar cut less expensive fleeces compare to the TAD Ranger LT, just a shame TAD costs so much more in the UK.

Arnie, that's what my main concern was. Whether or not the hood would lie flat when not in use. Being a student with a EDC bag, I hate when a hood doesn't lay flat. Makes the pack off center on my back

First time it was cold enough since I bought my stealth that I really wanted to see how well it kept me dry and warm in 40F somewhat of a downpour for like 3-4 hours of it raining on me outside I was very dry and warm. I was very happy about it, I usually leave rain duty to my Beta AR but yeah it did its job good.

I had a Stealth for a while, but wasn't a fan of how form-fitting it was. I'm not that big of a guy, and larges usually leave me room to breath and layer, but not that gen of the stealth. Keep in mind this was 3 years ago.

As far as the Ranger Hoodie is concerned, I love mine. Big, soft, room to breath and conceal. The hoodie is a little big and annoying until you need it, then it really shines. I actually dig the duck pocket in the back quit a bit. Its big enough to put a pair of gloves and watch cap without bulging out and making you look like you've got junk in your trunk!

    Funny you say that..
Is 2013 stealth running on the large side? I normally wear medium and Stealth I just got was huge on me... Small coming my way as replacement..
