Tactical cover for Kindle

    Want to buy Kindle, but I have read that it has to be in cover all time, because it is easy to destroy it. And I dont like those leather cover, so the question is, do You known/use any "tactical" cover?;D

    Best thing for the fire I've found is gum drop cases.
    Just google it.

    what do you really expect to find that is a 'tactical kindle case' A case with molle on it or something?

    I am looking for something that looks nice, a little military style, just like iphone cover from magpul.
    Using word "tactical" was the easiest way subscribe what I mean. Of course I will not make HALO with kindle, but I want to look cool, little military, thats all

    Funny you should mention something like that, because there is a place that escapes me that makes "tactical" covers for iPad and notebooks and the like...

    Sounds cool though. All in what you like. I personally like black, and durable stuff that I guess could be labeled as tactical.

    Something like the Hazard4 iPad case, but they don't make one for the kindle that I know of.

    +1 on what billy said...gumdrop. I only peeked, but I think it's only available for the Fire.

    I have the "military edition" for my incoming Asus Transformer (original). IMO, seems solidly built. In terms of cost, I think they're inline with cases with this level of protection (built in screen protector too).

    Just the Front

    I cut down a small poly cutting board into a rectangle just about an inch larger than the KF's dimensions. I rubber-band the KF to the board with the screen inward, and just drop it into my gym bag as is. The rubberized back on the KF is sufficient. I think the screen glass may even be Gorilla Glass; so the cutting board is not absolutely necessary, just a failsafe.

    You know, if you can get a true tactical bulletproof case for your kindle, you could carry it around in your plate carrier, and save space in your BOB.
