Hahaha, give and take
The more I look at this Pepsi can, the more I can see I'm going to have to make an alcohol stove out of it. I rather like earth tones for gear and this desert tan can is speaking to me.
She is pretty tolerant of the gear and stuff, but she doesn't really understand the "pocket dump", so the look on her face the whole time was distracting. She thinks I'm... no,,actually, all of us... are quite ridiculous with our show and tell. I suspect she secretly wonders if I'll ever grow into a man; mentally, of course, as I've already grown into two men physically.
UGH.... that alpha one-niner backpack is nice...
I like how high it rides, how 'small' (in comparison to other backpacks) it looks.... I love that it holds water bottles on side.... are those KKs?
you enable without even trying. I'm looking for that 'college kid' style small backpack.... hrmmm
Indeed they are. Twenty-seven ounce, though the EVADE will easily handle the forties.
Have you thought about one of the smaller Camelbacks ?
I have one about the size of a three day pack, actually my wife has commandeered it at this time. But for your family outings and as a travel pack, it would work great. Rides quite high.
I have a small camelbak and I like it. Rogue I think is the version.
Basically a small bladder with two small zip pouches and a small, open "stuff" pouch.
I'm trying to move away from that fabric. As with my sling, that fabric irritates me almost like nails on chalkboard.
I don't even know how each bag feels until I touch it. Stupid I know.
But certain nylons don't bother me. It's a texture thing and it is a highly annoying quirk...
... here's my contribution to the topic...
Nice Blind Horse!
What make is that cartridge? It doesn't look like your typical .45-70 load, and I'm always on the lookout for a good, factory hard-cast load for my guide gun.
Love the splash of red in that picture scbubba ! Sets off the pic.
Hey 91bravo , What caliber is your lever action ?
That particular one is 45-70. MTFatboy, those are HSM 430 grainers Bear Loads. Hard cast, flat nose, gas check. Check out our thread on what it killed two weeks ago!
A Montana brand, and I still wasn't familiar with it!
They kick like a freakin' mule and puts the smack down on bear and in my case two weeks ago, a big ol whitetail!
