Maratac AAA Copper
Brass Peak 10180 going on 7 years.
You might want to consider the AAA LED mini maglite. 10x the power, better battery life and no worries about blown bulbs. And yes, I own one, its my EDC light.
I just picked up a Fenix UC01. They are new, just came out in the last month or so.
Other friends I have carry a E05 and another has a Tube. So I have experience with those also.
Ultimately I wanted simple one hand operation, so the twisty E05 was out. The Tube is not a bad light at all, but my personal preference was something with a wide, even beam for close up illumination that wouldn't cast a hot spot in close quarters, so the UC01 was it. The battery life indicator is a nice touch too.
Again, the Nitecore isn't bad but as far as a keychain light, I want a softer light whereas if I need the throw, chances are I'll have something else handy anyway.
Work Keys Led Lenser P3 AFS. EDC Surefire titan plus.
I dont really carry another light so i dont mind a slightly heavy and bulky but more powerful key ring light.
Olight 1aaa here also.
I don't need power in my keychain light, I need portability, ease of use and an easy charging. The tube offers all of this in a very affordable package. Getting a Fenix UC01 for the same reasons. It's also worth mentioning that I rarely carry a "proper" keychain so I don't carry it every day-
Surefire Titan Plus. The only light carried.
I recently bought a MecArmy Illuminex-4. I've had it for a couple weeks now, so far I'm happy with it.
CRKT Getaway Driver --- I'm a sucker for multi-function tools.
TEC Pixel (In Stainless Steel, I've just pledged on the crowdfunding website for a Ti version)
It's far brighter than its size would suggest, it certainly gives a usable level of light, and its really small.
Lumintop Tool AAA (Al)
Just got a Jetbeam Mini-1, Its super tiny and 130 lumens of USB charging goodness.
Fenix e05. Light, compact, and bright enough for anything I've needed it for.
How is the aluminum body holding up? Do you have it riding with your keys and other keychain tools? Would you spring for the Ti or SS model if you were going to buy this light again?
It's not popular, but i got a qrbeta on mine.
itp a3 eos. has served me well for the last 3 years
I've just got a little Photon Freedom microlight on my keys. It's simple and good enough for what I need it for, and it's about as small as I can get for a functional, usable light. I've got entirely too much other crap on my keys to have a large light, especially when I have a Microstream or similar in my pocket already.
