So I want to replace my current sunglasses. I currently have a pair of Kenneth Cole sunglasses that I got at Ross for $5. I'm not looking to spend $100 on a pair of Ray Bans, but I do want a nice pair of shades for maybe $30-60. So what do you guys think? I'm thinking something like the sports style like my current ones, or maybe some aviators.

And please, share what kind of of shades do you wear? Here are mine. [IMG]

For me there can be only one and that is Fatheadz! I have had a pair of Slash polarized glasses for three years and for $28.00 they have been a killer bargain!

I use to wear Oakley Flak Jackets but they got chewed by my German Sheppard so I bought a pair of Revision Hellfly Ballistic glasses.

but I still might pick up a new pair of oakley cause I miss my flak jackets.

Try costco, they have ray bans for about $60 , I believe. Personally I never spend more than $20; I have a bad habit of losing my sunglasses

I'm a big fan of Oakley. Currently wearing a pair of Monster Dogs for casual/sport applications. I also have a pair of Crosshair 2's for more formal wear.

Sunglasses are one of the things I've never liked spending money on. However, having tried countless cheap pairs, I've decided I at least need them to be polarised. I ended up getting the cheapest pair of polarised shades with plenty of good reviews, from DX. They look and feel well made, they're polarised and they cost around $10.

So I'm still in el-cheapo territory, but they are way better than the £2 Aviator-style "10 MILLION UV PROTECTION" shades.

Several different Maui Jim's for wearing around town, very comfortable frames; Wiley X for range and safety, classic Ray Ban Cockpit Aviators when the need arises. I have no problem paying for quality glasses when eyes are so vulnerable.

America Optical (AO) or Randolph Engineering for aviators
I have a pair of Wiley X Revolvrs incoming so I can't attest to their quality yet, but I've heard good things
Eyeing a pair of Oakley Fuel Cells but haven't pulled the trigger yet
I had a pair of Native Wazees but the frame cracked on them recently so I can't highly recommend those. Less than a year old. Not happy.

Ray Ban Wayfarers for me. They have lots of cool options for them now.

Or if i know i'll be somewhere where it's possible for my Ray Ban's to be lost or damaged, i'll wear my trusty DANG shades. Similar shape to the wayfarers, but WAYYY cheaper. You can get them polarized for $25.

i got these at academy for $18. fully polarized, and it works great. i got them for fishing. the black on the frame is almost rubberized. it's really grippy. and the soft inserts at the end of the arm are so grippy i don't even have a string on them. but if you felt the need, i believe they pop right out of the arm so you can loop a string THROUGH the glasses for extra double-secret security. they look kind of like the ones you have now, too.
