I’ve been on the hunt for that perfect Tee, I’ve gone through a bunch in search of the one. My top three go to shirts are:
#3 Vollebak Ceramic Tee, it’s about $120 after shipping so it’s pricier than most but they are my most worn Tees.

#2 Iron Heart Loopwheel 6.5oz they just fit really well for a out of the box shirt. (About $85 USD)

#1 Son of a Tailor makes custom made tees that are on another level, even come monogrammed if that’s your thing they are around $85 yet top notch in fit, finish and quality materials.

    That’s my top 3, what’s yours

$120? $85.... we have different ideas about the acceptable price of a t-shirt. Hanes or comparable is good enough for me.

I generally go with Duluth Trading long-tail t-shirt. About $20-25 depending on whether they are on sale. They last a while and I like having a shirt pocket (I need a pocket for eyeglasses).

9C/48F outside as I type this, so I still have some time to make up my mind about summer wear :)

Well, actually it’s not that hard. I’m quite minimalist when it comes to everyday wear (just don’t open my sports and outdoor wardrobe), it’s jeans and black cotton t-shirts year round. In the summer I might switch it up with a less heat absorbing color if it’s very hot (not often around here). For long days in the sun I would go with merino wool t-shirts. By no deliberate reason I’ve ended up with almost exclusively owning Icebreakers, don’t know why that is, could be the way they fit, maybe.

I've got tees from many different manufacturers, including the big names like Haynes, Fruit of the Loom, and Gildan.

I cannot tell a lick of difference between them. Some are 100% cotton, some are 50% cotton/50% polyester, and to my skin are all the same feel and quality regardless of price.

For my money, I'll buy Gildan going forward: the six I have right now are well over 5 years old, still in good condition, and were only about $3 each.

Gildan does make a fine Tee, had a Pedro the Lion band shirt from them and it lasted for years and years.

well, I shouldn’t complain, the thermometer peaked at 13C today, so the needle is moving in the right direction. Apparently we’re supposed to get temps in the 20ies next week, but those long term forecasts are never the most reliable, so I’m not celebrating just yet

@kikaida Thanks for the information and link!
I ordered the 9 pack and been wearing them for a few weeks now. I agree they are very soft and comfortable here in the tropics.
The underwear are also nice and breathable even with the high humidity here, a plus for the OD green color.
