I am trying to find a bag that is less than 13 inches tall and has a lot of pockets. I want it to be under 13 inches to fit inside another bag that has an interior measurement of 13 tall by 13 wide.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Chad

What uses it the inner pack for?
Will the inner bag be empty and flat or with contents

If flat a stow away dry bag backpack from sea to summit
Or if full a pacsafe crossbody slig bag

Looking to make it like a small get home pack with minimal essentials but put inside my normal work backpack is the idea I am trying to implement.

Mil-Tec do a cheap, but nicely built, remora sling bag clone that would do a job.

Mystery Ranch Bop and Big Bop. I think they may even be on sale now.

This just arrived at my door today. I emptied my pockets into it immediately and it handled the task perfectly.

I was just shopping for a remora or hazard 4 covert for a slightly extended pocket dump bag, primarily for boating when my main pack is stowed away in a locker and I don't want my essentials bouncing around in a glove box or on the center console. I plan to add basic first aid, and a small usb charger.

I chose the Timbuk2 Zip Kit in Olivine color because it's light weight, water resistant, low profile, discreet, and it is in my desired color family.

HuMn wallet, Juul, Pen, Galaxy s8+, OLight M2R warrior, Glock 43, Blackpoint Tactical holster. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Helikon do something similar for a lot less money - essential kit.

Failing that, the first tactical summit side satchel fits the dimensions, but I’d bet the fabric is quite thick so might take up more space than necessary. It looks bigger than the quoted dimensions.

Snugpak response pack has a lot of love on my side of the pond.

Pentagon quick pack if you want a backpack but it’s bit too big possibly. Wisport do the sparrow egg pack. Still a fraction too big but close.

Someone has already mentioned the Hazard 4 Kato. I also have that bag and love it. If you want a bit smaller look at the Hazard 4 Tanto. It is the same design but smaller.

Highly recommend the Helikon Tex Bandicoot.
Its sold as a waist pack /fanny pack but the over looked factors that make it ultra flexible are
It compreses very flat when not in use
It can also be cross body
The belt part tucks into a pass thru at the rear so this means it can but placed on any other belt in your system or on the waist or chest strap of any pack

I often wear mine vertically on the shoulder strap of my Rush 12 or 24.
So simple unclip the R24 buckle slide on the bandicoot reclip done

I carry the essentials in it Phone , keys , then these items on a supplied velcro holder : charger , light , wallet , muktitool

There is a velcro patch which mates to a velcro holder

How this works for me is I might have the bandicoot empty folded flat in the rear of my R12.
My essential EDC keys in my pocket ,phone in another pocket
Perhaps I've been to work or on a hike I get back to the car, pull out the bandicoot, pull the velcro holder out the R12 slap it into the bandicoot ,throw in my phone and keys in then I can put the bandicoot around my waist or cross body.

Later if needed slip the entire thing on to the R12 shoulder strap.

Its really changed my carry options and flexibility, imagine a double size maxed Janus with a waist strap
There is also a smaller variant available

It's way,way quicker and easier than it sounds , might have to do a video
