I'm looking for a fixed blade for EDC that includes a nice kydex sheath with the knife that securely locks it in place.

the knife in the forum store is pretty sweet, the pre-order chen yang. Its only like 48 bucks too. might not be what you want though.

Esee 4 is one of my favorites. Tough :censored: knife, micarta grips, comes with kydex sheath that includes molle attachments.

The benchmade socp is my favorite at the moment. Has a full body kydex sheath and is designed for defensive knife use. Its a bit expensive but worth every cent. In the picture its the one next to the Gerber paraframe. The only non folder on the bag

    +1 on Chen's "Yang"

I've also heard nice things about the BRKT PSK and a little bigger the DFK Titanium Backpacker for EDC

You can't go wrong with an Izula too, a favorite of mine

I'm interested in these ESEE knives.

They both appear to come with decent sheaths. I am concerned the 8" knife may be a bit big to carry but I think it would be doable, it would give me some balance on my non-gun side too.

Check out the ontario rat 3.Very similar to the esee 3 but at a lower price point. The sheath comes with a clip and a tek-lok. Great knife IMHO.

Funny you mentioned that. I just watched a Nutnfancy review on that from 2008.

Becker BK11 or BK14. Both are great knives, on par with the Izulas, IMHO, and normally much lower price point.

I would recommend an Izula 2. Because of it size it is very comfortable and good for concealed carry.

Look into Spartan. They are expensive but you do get what you pay for.
