A Canon 60d with grip and 17-55mm f2.8 IS 4gb of RAM for the Macbook 500gb passport drive 500gb desktop drive (passport drive for use with the laptop as standard, desktop drive so I can mirror the first drive as a backup, which will only be used at home so is fine being a bulkier desktop one) That lot would make me rather happy, but are currently off the cards until a new job is found to pay for it all. The rest of my EDC, while all relatively budget gear, has now evolved to the point I am happy with it, so is not really needing upgraded in any important ways right now.
My choices would be: Ruger LCP AR-15, though, to be fair, I haven't done much of any research on this one. MkII watch maybe an iPod touch
A new notebook, probably a Mac. I'm running Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop and it has given me nothing but trouble. An author who used to run his own computer auditing firm, who wrote articles for the journal I edit, recently told me to get a Mac. He said Windows machines have become too troublesome to update and keep clean of problems. My last Apple was the Apple II+ (actually, I think it was an Apple IIe clone) around 1980 or so. I switched to IBM PC standard after IBM jumped into the market, because I covered the business software market. But I'm thinking of going back to Mac again. Supposed to be more intuitive.
Rolex Explorer I. i could probably pay it off in a few months, but i just can't justify buying a watch on credit and i've got a couple other things i should take care of first.
Mac is definitely the way to go. There are benefits to a PC but I switched to mac about 3 years ago and I wouldn't go back. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
