Thank you all. Yeah, I have missed having a PT. It fits so perfectly in the watch pocket of my Levi's.

My PT arrived yesterday. Lighter shad of green. I'm still on the fence about it. The mechanism is stiff. The lock engages the blade only for about 2 mm. Bladeforum experts tell me that it is normal. Clipped to a dress pants pocket it sticks out too much. It fits well, however, in the change pocket. It's center of balance is on the second finger grove. It came packed in a small plastic bag without any paperwork.

MIne is a lighter shade of green the pix show it darker.

Yes, I am also on BF, and am aware of your issues.

I am happy with mine. I cold personally care less that it came in a plastic zip lock. What paperwork were you expecting?

Your knife will loosen up with use.

I have a black PT which I love but I have to admit I was disappointed when I found it came only in a plastic bag. I've bought $25 folders that come in a box and are accompanied with literature about the knife. You'd think after spending $300 you'd get at least a printed warranty card or something.

I can only paraphrase what I said on the other forum. I didn't expect anything in particular. However, every other new knife I ever bought (Emerson, MOD, Kershaw, BM, Spyderco, etc.) came in a box with some kind of paperwork. Strider did not. I found it peculiar, to say the least.

I KNOW what you said on BF..

I have never found that peculiar. But, to each his own.

I've got one, in black G10. It's one of those knives that keeps calling me back to get one, but has ended up loosing the battle for pocket time with my Sm Seb, Much of this had to do with the fact I prefer all-Ti handled knives. Still, I've always found the PT to fit the hand very well(even for its small size) and have actually had much better luck in terms of F&F with the 4 PTs I've owned over the same number of Sebs I've owned. I've finally come to the conclusion I don't have to own one OR the other and am looking at having a Ti slab mod for the PT in the very near future.
As far as the box issue is concerned, none of the boxes I've received ever made much of a difference regarding performance.

I am a sucker for small knives. I have always loved the PT, and had one a long while ago. I too love all Ti. handled knives, but there is something about the PT, that I HAD to have one again. I would so LOVE an ALL Ti. PT; that would be the cat's meow!!

Excellent! and cool, icy pix. I just got my first Strider about a week ago. A folder like the one you got TKC, may be next on my list!

Nice score, Suz! I have a PT-CC, which is probably my most carried knife, but it's been bumped lately for the 3" XM-18 I've been EDCing.

Thank you my friend. I would like to get a PT CC, for those times where I just want to drop a knife in the bottom of my pocket. I don't like doing that with knives that have pocket clips? KNow what I mean?

I love that your 3 inch Hinderer has bumped out your PT CC. Cool beans my friend!

Ian...you still have it eh! Has it loosened up any?

I'm not a big fan of dropping a knife into the "lint" zone either ;)

Nice score Suze! I actually just nabbed a PT CC off BF, so I'm looking forward to it's arrival. Not sure how I'll like the "no clip" version, but we'll soon see!

Congrats again on a great little knife!
