Quick shot of my field kit. This has been with me to Mexico, Malawi and Indonesia so far.
"THE" PocketRef is the 'do all' 'end all' and yes... the kitchen sink of reference manuals. Everything to old AT computer command sets (at least in my old printing version) to nail, screw sizes, conversion factors, electricity and electronic forumlas to welding rod specs and carpentry formulas... you name it and it's in there. The FBI is still looking for Hoffa because they're not carrying PocketRef's in there gobags
That looks like a top piece of gear
Ok, now I gotta have one. Best place to purchase?
Not to Hijack the thread, but...The "Black Book", I have been edc this for over ten years now and pull it out all the time.... would be lost without it. I actually picked mine up from the local Harbor Freight store. Definitely the best bang for the 13$ it cost.
maxpedition has them on thier site. http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/Pocket-Ref-3rd-Edition-by-Thomas-J-Glover-34p754.htm
Love the kit, small compact, handy. I think I need it. The book too.
Amazon has the book cheap. Found it for under $10
Great kit.....what is the knife....I love it.
Yeah but it's much smaller in person .
I want one of these. I wasn't really satisfied with my county comm organizer, but this looks perfect.
