I always need an extra bag in my backback, in case I need to spontaneously shop some groceries, in case someone asks me to grab some extra beers when I'm already on my way, in case I find interesting stuff I need to get home etc etc
There are always some disposable plastic shopping bags in my jackets and bags, they do an excellent job for light carrying chores. They also can be used for emergency solution rain protection or you can sit down on them where it is wet, I highly recommend carrying several of those throughout your gear.
However, they will not carry heavy stuff.

This the solution, Stormtracker's tactical shopping bag on steroids "The Looter":

Pictured with some heavy books, 12 kg. This is not overloaded, it will carry heavier stuff.

There is an inside pocket that fits the Specops Cargo Pocket Organizer just right (It won't hold the Maxpedition EDC Pocket Organizer). I will put some of my beloved disposable plastic shopping bags in there ;)

The workmanship is impressive. This bag will last a lifetime.

It folds down to almost the size of a Maxpedition Rolly Poly Backback, but will carry much more and most importantly much more heavy stuff. There is no extra loop for belt carry, but you can carry it on a strap from your bag, backpack etc . You cannot use it as a backpack however ;)

I am not affiliated to edcgear.com in any way and do not receive anything in return for this, I just honestly want to recommend to all of you guys to get this product and include it in to your EDC system, it is really awesome. At least get some plastic bags ;)

That's a cool shopper. Looks well made, too. It certainly doesn't hurt that I'm drawn to anything in Multicam!

Mine came in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to get some groceries into it. Great workmanship and should last a lifetime. I'm really pleased.

The handle strap is made of one piece of material and goes all around the inside of the bag. The stitching is very heavy duty where it connects. This bag should hold more weight than any person could possibly carry on its own.

That is fully awesome. Umm...forgive the rookie question but how does one go about acquiring a "looter"?

    Thanks!

Edit to add: Never mind. Found the store!

Where can you buy this bag?

Does it come in black or Foliage Green?

Mine took a long long time to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. It is strong and wide, I use it every day (among other things, I use to carry my lunch to work and I stuff into it all those big items that can't find a place in my satchel). When I'm not using it, I fold it and clip it to the satchel.
One of my best EDC purchases of 2010, definitely.

    ^M0rk^

p.s. my Looter has on the inside a kind of removable "keyper" too :

Any chance of seeing the Unikit or Looter in Foliage Green. Would be very nice for my Foliage Green Sitka.

Can any one give me an idea on the usual wait for one?
I ordered on the 19th, just wondering how long the usual wait is.
