So I looked at the pictures, watched a couple Youtube videos, and felt like I had a pretty good sense of what County Comm was shipping me. Wrong. This thing is a precision machined work of art! Heavy? Yes. Would I want to write the next great American novel in longhand with it? Probably not, but its weight is part of its appeal for me. There is no reason to believe this pen won't last me a lifetime. In that context, $45 seems like a steal.

I have one as well and it does appear that the only thing that will be left after a nuclear armegeddon is the cockroach and these pens. :)

Do post a pic of the Copper version when you get it. I'm really impressed with the Stainless, so much so that I'm tempted to shell out the $$ for the Ti version as well. Although the Maxmadco bolt action is the same price as the Ti Embassy. Anyone have both and care to weigh in?

I do like the action of the maxmadco but do love my ti embassy pen. If I had the extra $$ I'd go copper as well. I went with a copper hinderer instead. If the Maxmadco were offered in Ti, I'd be all over that.
    Why I prefer Ti...

Very nice. Heat treating I assume. I would think that would be a pretty durable finish/mod.

I just sent my ti embassy pen to the same place. Opted for the barbershop pole design with sandblasting as well.

    Sent from my phone.

I'm in the middle of an experiment with my copper EP. I dig the patina but sometimes I just want that shine back. Problem is I really hate the fumes and elbow grease of polishing it with my old metal bottle of Brasso. But I saw a video (by someone who I'm sure is on this forum) who put a copper Maratac in a baggie with ketchup in the fridge overnight and it came out looking like new (even in deep down in the knurling). I took before pictures, and I'll have after pics tomorrow.

Its the vinegar in the ketchup that mildly corrodes the dirt right off the metal, i used to mess around with copper coins when i was a kid, got smacked around the ears a few time by my mum for using all the red stuff to make pennys shiny

I really like the pen but I hate what they charge for shopping. That's the whole reason I haven't ordered one

Lemon juice also has a nice effect. Does not last long however and the patina comes back even more. I think it looks better know.

Anyone know where I can find a stainless steel CC Embassy Pen?
    Or even brass.
