! LOVE THIS KNIFE !
BE WELL .. GH
its my work knife. solid and sharp. and still rather cheap to use. and definately can take a beating.
plain edge is my way. i like it alot.
I had one but lost it and now I'm waiting for a good sale to get a couple
cutleryshoppe.com has them for $30 plus shipping. They have a set delivery cost no matter how many knives you order.
I'm religious that EDC blades should be plain. Primarily due to ease of sharpening.
Good knife for the price, havent used it much though. Odd but it just doesnt quite feel like all the other Spydies I have, especially the higher end ones.
i have it's little brother persistence and i love it so i suppose that tenacious also would be great!!
love love love my spyderco tenacious
The more I use this knife, the less I think of it. I do not like that it does not flick open easily and it seems to have lost it's edge quickly (only cut paper, twine and cut open one cardboard box).
The problem may be that my previous EDC knife was a Benchmade Mini Griptilian. I guess that is the difference between a $30 knife and a $70 knife.
try loosening the pivot. every tenacious i have ever handled popped open very easily and smoothly. also cardboard is murder on a knife blade, especially a steel like 8CR13MOV. Personally i would take the benchmade over the tenacious, but i really dont like the steel either knife uses. i still cant get my minigrip to hold an edge.
i've edc'd my tenacious for a while now and I love it. For the price and quality nothin beats it.
