    Oh wow, that is crazy cool, what a nice piece, I'll have to keep my open for one of those, they must be pretty rare though because thats the first one I've ever seen.

    I have had three spyderco lum tanto folders now in 5 years and that is the first Ti one i came across.

    Thanks! Yes I did make them. I will probably carry it for a while....It is hard to take that PM 2 out of my pocket tho!! I am still working out how to make my own scales for that as well! I don't have a mill nor any other kind of machine/capability to copy scales, so once I figure out how to do it by hand, I will be making some for the PM2!

    You can do the "mill" work carefully with a Dremel.

    ive got a techno coming my way. pretty pumped on it. i got it through a trade and wanted it based on looks alone. then i looked it up and found out its a pretty bad :censored: little knife.

    I have been looking at that...I do all my shaping with the dremel and have been looking at some of the bits for doing the milling...

    SMAJ: Definitely well-done scales that look gorgeous with the black blade! I have a Delica in the works with the same color scheme. So, what knife is it? (I'm still learning to identify the non-FRN Spydies.)

    Also, can you please confirm the material is Micarta, like Mr. Unagi said above? I know the day will come when I'll want to have a go at making my own scales. So I might as well starting learning about it now. ;)

    It is the Tenacious. And it is not micarta, but G10. I have not worked with micarta yet, but am considering making my own!
