I have one of these clips on my Delica, but I don't like how wiggly it feels under my hand when I'm really cutting into something, like breaking down cardboard.
Not sure what you mean by this but that is not the same clip that I have? Mine does not wiggle at all it is like a rock.
Ahh! Hoped it was something like that but no problems here. I highly endorse the one that I have,it is a great compliment to the knife.
Thanks for the info on this EZDog. I just ordered one from Casey. He is running a new batch this week so it will most likely be about ten days till I get it, but that's okay. Carl
Delicas should come from the factory with a deep carry clip. They really make the knife, I had forgotten I talked to Casey about getting one for my Endura a while back but I decided that I preferred the regular clip on my Endura.
Can't wait till mine arrives! Not sure if I can handle the steel, but found one at a reasonable price 2nd hand and really wanted a caly3
I actually found my delica!! I'm so happy that I found her ^_^ I'll still buy the endura though (a lady friend of mine is going to kill me, she dislikes me "throwing money away" on knives)
Will she notice the difference thou? Never have them out at the same time need to get a 2nd dragonfly myself, I misplace it all too often. unless my caly3 can fill its role
She "steals" the delica out of my pocket sometimes (for fun) so she'll definitely notice te endura being bigger. I'll guess that I'll just keep it nice and unscuffed and use it at home. She said she'll crush me if I buy another knife she's a full head shorter than I am but never underestimate a woman!!
Is'nt the dragonfly a little small handle wise? I find the delica's handle just a little too small for hard cutting (still use it hard though, it's a tool). Might be that I have large hands (according to my glove size) I can do with a 3" blade but I want a good sized handle
Not really. What you have to take into consideration with the dragonfly is that the grip extends into the steel of the blade giving it a ridicules (and hopefully more people friendly) edge/grip ratio of ~1:2. as you can see the difference is about 1/4", which you because of the handle shape of the Delica can't really use anyway (one of the reasons I don't carry mine). I got pretty large hands myself, but if you find the Delicas handle too small, I would not recommend the Dragonfly. As for your other problem, you have to have a knife to carry. Would be a real shame if your Delica got lost again......
Excellent picture and explanation, two_zeri! Those are the exact reasons why I appreciate the Dragonfly's design so much, and never bother to carry a Delica in my pocket.
