I lost a screw for the pocket clip on my Tenacious and emailed Spyderco and had a replacement set on my doorstep in about 2 weeks. Hope that helps

Thanx GG. But my problem with liner locks is they are on the wrong side. I'm a leftie, so it will close up on me. But I will be getting the endura then soon I hope. If the wife is ok with it... I like ontario products by the way. Have the rtak2, rat 7 and the mil. machete.

That is indeed hard then. Go look at the 111 mm victorinox knives with the one hand opening hole. Those are left hand liner locks. And good luck with the wife and Endura!

If you like large blades the Endura is an excellent knife. I absolutely love mine, it is only taking a bit of a break at the moment while I take my new PM2 for a spin.

I originally had an Endura with the sabre grind and did not really like the blade width so i got one with FFG (Full flat grind).
The FFG has great ergonomics (for me at least) and is thin, light, disappears in your pocket and slices great.

I think its a great choice as a large edc knife that is good value. I have used mine every day for 4 years and it has held up well.

    End enablement.

I was planning on the full flat. I like saber as well, but it really doesn't matter to me. But thanks for the info. It is supposed to be a large one. I pair it up with a backup utility folder.

I agree that the Endura is a very good knife, but in terms of larger Spydies, the PM2 is pretty much without parallel. I love the lightness of the FRN handles on my Delica, Dragonflies, etc., but when it came to getting a larger blade knife, the PM2 just seemed to win out over the Endura in pretty much every respect. Better steel, full liners, great locking mechanism, and better ergonomics. Before making a final decision, I'd recommend giving a PM2 a hard look! :)

Endura has full liners ;) the coloured ones anyway. But the pm2 is indeed the superior blade, but it comes at a superior price as well.

My new Chaparral and my first real knife, the Dragonfly II ZDP-189. I love them both, and they together are my entire knife collection.

Heh. Thanks. Yeah I don't have the income(yet) to really start buying a bunch of knives, but come Christmas and birthday I take advantage. The advantage, such as it is, of not being able to afford a bunch of stuff is that what you do spend money on tends to be highly vetted. Both of these knives were as far from "impulse buy" as you can get.
The next Spyderco I want is a more utility-oriented knife, so I'm thinking of a Techno or a Manix2/PM2.

Fir the most part that's how I buy my knives, not too many impulse buys. Well, less than half probably. My first real knife (Emerson Mini CQC 15) I researched the crap out of to decide on that. Since then not as much.

Good choices on the next Spydercos. I'd suggest the manix or pm2. They'll give you more variety in size range.
