Alright fellas, lookin at buying my first spyderco soon. I really love the Native 5 G10 but can't swing the price tag at the moment. So I'm looking for something more affordable but still nice.
Narrowed it down to the Native 5 FRN or the Dragonfly 2 Salt. I will eventually buy the Native G10 so I'm not sure if I want two of them lyin around.
Someone enable me.
Ti clip for my PM2..
Updated spyderco collection..
Go ahead and get the Dragonfly to start with because sooner or later you're gonna end up with one of them (Dragonflys) in your rotation.
I've got to agree with Carl. A Dragonfly is a "must have" Spydie. Word!

I'm gonna play devils advocate and say pick up the Native FRN.
If you are attracted to the Native blade and style you can get what you want and not be as precious about it. You may also find that you don't like it / don't need another and change your opinion on the next knife. Then you'll have extra funds or won't waste your money.
IMO the Native is an excellent knife but an even better starting point for your first Spydie is a Delica.
I love the Dragonfly
Sounds like the Dragonfly (2) is a 'must have'...
But then... so is the BM Minigrip...
You'll end up having both of them anyway
You know me??? Guess you're right. Just give it some time....
New acquisition from SMAJ
I may or may not already have a BM mini grip... Or a few. And a full size Grip. And a few other benchmade models.
Looks like most people are suggesting the Dragonfly. And I've found out that I can get the Dragonfly G10 version for the same price as the Native FRN. I may be going against the trend but I love me some steel liners.
