You might also look at the SpydieChef; same designer. Plus it really does function great as a chef's knife! Steel WILL. NOT. RUST. Even the clip, the screws, etc etc will not rust... Designed to act as a chef's knife; you can get full function of the blade against a cutting board and your knuckles will not be in the way.

Also is a great edc knife!

So, to all my fellow Spydie fans:

Many of you may like I, receive the regular newsletter from Spyderco "Spyderco Byte".

For anyone who either missed the April 2020 edition or who doesn't subscribe. The April 2020 edition discusses the newest knife in the Spyderco 'Ethnic Series' - the Watu. The knife is Spyderco's latest version of a traditional African knife. Besides being a neat knife in its own right, apparently Spyderco is donating some portion of proceeds to a fund for children in Africa suffering from AIDs.

But there's more... this edition of the newsletter is of further interest, listing a chronology of knives Spyderco has produced over the years in collaboration with various designers, all paying homage to various local ethnic knives from various world cultures. I though some would find it of interest.

To that end, here is a link: https://mailchi.mp/spyderco/spyderco-byte-april-2020?e=66a888c3c1

    Enjoy!

    Am Yisrael Chai!

No left handed version (clip on the left side doesn't count) and not an ambidextrous lock so I'll give it a miss. I'm loving my left handed knives lately, large Sebenzas and left handed PM2s.

Otherwise, my fixed blades getting the most love these days...

Actually, I added the link more so y'all could take a look at what Spyderco does with the ethnic knives than in terms of any one model...

Well, we’ll, well. I’ve been a member of this forum for over 10 years now and FINALLY got my first Spyderco! While I always wanted one, I either didn’t have the cash to get the one I wanted, couldn’t decide which exact model I wanted, or just plain wanted other knives at the time. I recently read “No knife collection is complete without a Para 2”, and who was I to argue? :D
So, without further ado, here is my fairly plain, but still pretty darn awesome Paramilitary 2:

Is that "scalloped" scale only on one side? I wasn't sure if the other photo was before a scale change or if it's just one side. What's the model?

The Domino only has a scale on one side, which I replaced.
