    You're in luck. They sold out of the Cruwear Manix and now they are only available randomly on the secondary market. That's one less to worry about...maybe.

    Yes, it is, I like it, Jimping is a little more aggressive and I never was a huge fan of the plastic cage!

    Probably the only thing I don't like about that knife. Was ecstatic to hear they were releasing those.

    I found a vendor that 3D prints them in different colors and some GITD. You can see a couple of them on the knives in my other picture. I figured if it had to be plastic I may as well make it my own.

    I feel I'm going to be spending some money with flytanium now. Lol

    I will be buying one eventually. I don't hate the plastic but I don't like it either. The metal is so much better looking and more practical.

    What is crazy about the Manix 2 is how all the big name reviewers state how hard it is to take apart and reassemble the knife. Granted the first time I did it, I did have a little trouble, but after the first time it is pretty simple, the cage took maybe two minutes to install. I guess it probably lies in the fact they only do it once.

    My only concern with the Flytanium cages is galling, but I took mine apart to check and it appears to be taking a polishing on the contact surfaces rather then galling so far. A fellow on BF has some steel ones coming in the end of the month, they appear slightly wider then standard, might try one of them as well.

    Hmm. I call that a mixed/debatable blessing! ;)

    Although my budget will be happier. Until I catch the next bug...!

    I only had two issues one of which cleared up after the first time. The ball bearing cage is easy to put in backwards... when you open the knife it will shoot the bearing out sometimes. Haha.

    The other is when I was putting in a backspacer. The scales are pressed on and it's really harrowing when you're pulling them off. Thought I was going to break my scale and ruin the knife.

    @Lateck
    Thanks! Yes, I really like these MXG clips. Especially the clip for the Para 3. It´s longer than the clip for the PM2 and there is a cutout for the lanyard hole. Often I see the PM2 clip at the Para 3 what I don't like. It´s not deep carry and the lanyard hole is blocked.

    For my Delica 4 I have a MXG Gear clip also. I have chosen the longer clip for the Delica because the contact point of the clip is at the flat Spyderco logo, not on the aggressive texture of the handle. That is much more pants pocket friendly :)

    So I use the MXG Gear clips for all my Spyderco knives except the UKPK with the wire clips which I like and they are deep carry already.
