As @EZDog already wrote there is just enough room to do the job without holding the driver at an angle could cause damaging the screw heads.
See detail pictures. The Torx wrench I used was a cheap give-away from Böker and it´s build like an Allen key.

    Also to @dischu:

Didn't think of that. I was thinking Torx drivers...

    Thanks

Same thing for many practical uses.
Not always but often works interchangeably too.

Has anyone seen the prototype pics that were posted from the Amsterdam Meet up? You can see them here on SpyderCollector's site. The Endela seems interesting as do the new smaller and larger versions of the Efficient. It looks like there's going to be a Wharncliff Dragonfly as well as a Dragonfly with an Emerson opener. There's a total of 10 prototypes out of the 100 they showed at the meet that Spyderco has allowed to be shown online.

So, I don't have any current pics my Spydercos, but my collection now stands at 5 Spydercos and one Byrd. My Dragonfly and Ladybug hawkbill are my most carried knives.

Thanks for the update @Water-Rat! I don't know why but I've been thinking that a Wharncliff Dragonfly had been on the market already... maybe it was by one of the after market re-grinding outfits...

Yup. Knivesplus also do aftermarket mods. I just bought a modded Delica wharncliffe from them. https://www.knivesplus.com/modified-spyderco-delica-regrind-wharncliffe.html

Much sleeker than what Spyderco ships...

I've just acquired my first real Spyderco (I have a Honeybee on my keyring), a Heinnie special UKPK with G10 and S30V steel.

The picture below isn't mine, it's from the Heinnie Haynes website...

There's something special about the UKPK. I normally carry a Caly3 for the locking feature, but it's fit, finish, and feel in the hand doesn't begin to compare to the UKPK. I had mine Anso-ground, which gives it an even better feel in the hand.

I´m waiting for a Heinnie Haynes UKPK also. Beside the G10 handle scales and the S30V steel it got a bigger slipjoint back spring than the standard version. So there should be more tension for the blade.

Being completely new to the knife world I had to look that up

Do you have any photos you could post?

It does have a longer spring, hence the extra screw compared to the original. From other reviews I've read, by people who have both, it does have more tension, it certainly feels nice and firm to me. :)

Last week I got to go to the Spyderco headquarters and retail outlet in Golden, Colorado. I learned a lot while there. A real nice guy named Jon was working that day. We had toured the Coors brewery the day before and Jon told us how ceramics recycled from Coors gave Spyderco it’s start. My Spyderco Persistence pictured below has been my EDC knife since I got it a couple of years ago.
I had a screw missing in the grip and it needed sharpened. Jon took my knife and gave it a good going over. He replaced a couple grip screws, got all the play out of the blade and sharpened it to fare the well.
I bought my Dad a Persistence while I was there and picked up a Paramilitary 3 for a back up to my Persistence. Got a healthy discount and a military discount. I was impressed. I picked up a couple of T-shirt’s and my girlfriend bought a few knives as gifts. She picked up a bunch of Spyderco swag. It’s a very neat place with a ton of merchandise and information. If you get close it’s worth the trip. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
