Thank you for the update, MbD!
I see it's now available through Blade HQ and Knifecenter, and that's promising. I live in Norway, so I prefer to buy within Europe. Shipping is usually a lot less, and customs much smoother. I reached out to my preferred store in Finland, and they expect to get a few samples next week. Not sure I trust them on that, but now there is some hope at least ;-)

Lamnia are not the best at estemating when knives will get back in stock sadly. I have been using Knifecenter myself to Norway. Think they are to be trusted

    Thanks, Reidar!
Actually I've done some bulk buying from Knifecenter, so most of my knives are probably bought through them. This is actually quite favorable when buying many items and the overhead cost is technically split between them. The problem with US import is mainly when buying few items or just semi-expensive items. You then pay a premium for shipping to Norway and usually end up with a relatively high VAT processing fee. The result being that the overhead cost is very high compared to the actual value of what you're buying.
Lamnia has VAT processing included in their shipping option, and as long as my order is north of the EUR 100 limit to qualify for free shipping (usually not a problem), I can buy a single item with no overhead cost.

How? When I am in there they say I would have to pay imprt duties, and I do not se an option for them to handle it

" Vær oppmerksom på at du kan måtte betale importavgifter når du importerer varer til Norge! Skattesatsen er 25 %."

Yes, Reidar, there is no way around paying VAT/MVA, but the way Lamnia ship stuff, I have not been charged a processing fee / handling fee. E.g. Posten charges 158,- or 341,- NOK for this depending on value / cathegory of goods. VAT/MVA for the whole invoice (value + shipping) will be on top of this.

Basically, a 1000 NOK item from Lamnia will cost you 1250 NOK
    A 1000 NOK item from KC will cost you (1000 + 300(est. shipping) )x 1.25 + 158 = 1783 NOK

Sorry guys for messing up this thread.
Including todays carry to make up for it, sort of.

Finally pulled the trigger on a new Spyderco K12 Chef's Knife. Thing is a beast. I have big hands and the handle is huge in it yet very comfortable Cuts like a laser out of the box and will be a happy replacement for the Wusthof Kitchen Surfer that my wife has taken over.

Manix 2, I need to buy a new clip for my Endura wave as the clip is not retaining its tension very well and would love to have a Shaman in M4.[IMG]

I've been wondering about these clips. Particularly given there are 3 screws to deal with, it doesn't look like they're all accessible by holding the driver perpendicular to the knife handle surface when going through the hole of the clip. I can easily see too many situations wherein a driver held at an angle could cause stripping of the screw heads. Or am I just having poor perception here?

You have just enough room to get the job done.
    With thin wrenches of course.
