They're both Millies, but the left one is the recent KnifeWorks exclusive model in CTS-204P steel. You can really see some the CQI changes on that one compared to the older one: screw pivot, larger screws, larger lanyard hole. There are some internal changes too.
The pic is a bit misleading because the angle makes them look to be different sizes, but they're the same.

Yea, the laynard hole and the "size difference" are the main reasons I asked.

Sadly, I have yet to own a knife with D2. I do have two knives with CTS-XHP, which I've heard described as a stainless D2, and I can say the M4 is easier for me to get super sharp on the Sharpmaker than the XHP, though the XHP is still a great steel.

No need to be sad, I don't like D2 at all ;) Thanks for the reply, I think my next knife will be a Mantra :D

That's a seriously good idea. There is absolutely nothing I'd change about it, except maybe deleting the lanyard hole, and that's all personal preference.

This knife, with the Manix and PM2 and others, reassure me immensely that Spyderco is in excellent hands with Eric G.

I really need to pick up a mantra, ended up grabbing the mantra 2 but dont find myself carrying it much, its nice but I'm wondering if I would like the Mantra better.

If you like the handle ergos, I'd pick one up. Personally I wanted the functional SpyderHole, but I think it's great they give people options.

I looked all through the current Spyderco catalog. Like the looks of this knife, but can't figure out which one it is! I'm guessing you changed scales on it? But I still can't figure it out... Put me out of my misery!
