This picture reminds me of a kids' game, only for knives. Manix, Manix, Manix, Paramilitary!
Lol, that is hilarious!
Pm2, Manix2 elmax and manix2 s110v or bd1, but what is the red one? Its goijuss!!
Ok close, but pm2, regular saber ground manix2 (not sure if they still make em, cruwear manix and bd1 manix.
The red one is the saber ground. I got some custom scales and forced a patina to make the design on the blade(its not showing too well in this pic). Thanks!
Was the blade swap pretty simple? My ZDP189 and HAP40 are just slightly different sizes so I wonder about how easy it would be to blade swap either of them with a different handle color.
I found that the blade tang and lock bar of HAP40 version is a bit different from other versions of DF2 and so you will also need to swap the lock bar. Overall, it is still very simple.
Huh. Interesting. I wonder why that is. Cool swap though. I can't tell though, is that the British racing green or black handle?
Has anyone got their hands on a coarse texture Paramilitary 2 yet? Apparently Knifeworks' most recent stock of the black/DLC model were all coarse. I found out after they sold out, so I missed out. I'm hoping my preferred retailer gets some in when the restock again, although they only made "a few hundred", so it's probably unlikely.
It's BRG handle. I dyed it black a bit and then sanded it to get a "worn" look.
dplafoll: "Like" is for the two Dragonflies.
Water-Rat: Agreed that a sheepsfoot blade, like on the H1 Rescue and Assist, makes more sense around water, esp. around people and inflatables. And while I like the idea of the built-in clip, I think that a retractable gear tether may make more sense in practice. That said, I could still be tempted...
Jason Liddell: Looks like the new version is called a Snap-It Salt, instead of Rescue Clip. It looks similar in size to the Dragonfly. So may make a better keychain attachment than something to be used for water rescue. I'm not a fan of pointy blades when there's a chance I may fumble the knife.
