    Anyone have a good source for durable, zippered, see-thru mesh pouches? Kinda' like these, only not a set so I can pick up several of just the size I need?

    Why yes they did. The Moire, got one on my wish list already. Still would like some thinner, individual "envelopes" for bag organizers.

    Doh! I had forgotten about Eagle Creek. I've got several of their products, they make good stuff. Thanks...

    <edit>

    They don't have a real wide range of sizes though. I was looking for some in the 4" x 6" or 6" x 8" neighborhood.

    I got one that's about 8 x 6 for $4 at Academy, they also have various sizes.

    What is this "Academy" of which you speak? I'd google it but I'm afraid there'd be just a few unrelated hits.

    Try Academy Sporting Goods. It's a chain store in Texas, that I know of, maybe other states.

    You many also want to try The Container Store and L.L. Bean.

    Thanks... I found an assortment of seven vinyl zippered pouches that will do for now, though they're thicker and take up more space than necessary.

    Hopefully next week I be able to post some photos showing why I was asking.

    Here's an example of the type of pouches I'm looking for. I used them in the kit mentioned in this thread.

    I think it's a nylon mesh laminated in between two layer of polyethylene, Pretty thin and tough. If anyone should spot these somewhere in an assortment of sizes, please, please, please let me know. Thanks.

    Why not make your own? The poly mesh sacks that some stores sell potatoes in are pretty strong. Cut them up, sew them together and add a zipper and you can make any size you want. They're often in fairly bright colors, too. If you want them to be non-breathable, make a liner using the ironed-together plastic grocery bags mentioned in another thread here.

    Woops, I hadn't checked this thread in a while...

    Wow, some neat stuff. Some of the colors were straining my eyes, good thing white and black are options. :)

    Thought of that, but since I don't have a sewing machine (and don't do enough of this sort of thing to justify buying one) I'd end up paying the little, old Chinese woman at the dry cleaners much more to stitch them together than the assembled ones can be bought for.
