I'm just out of range of the smoke to the north, so no problems here... with this strong wind though, I don't see it getting here anytime soon

I could smell the smoke again this morning as the winds have brought it all the way up towards Atlanta.

Not too far from Savannah - and we get a good bit of it, its odd though...in town it will be relatively clear, but an hour north it will be pretty smoky. A friend has children in daycare and they would not let the youngsters outside becasue of the smoke [if a youn un had undiagnosed asthma for instance....it could be pretty bad...]

Clearer today, but you can clearly smell it every day.

I work just outside of Birmingham, Al and the smoke was pretty hazy this morning. I noticed it about 4am and thought something at the plant was on fire. Then I could tell by the smell it was a "woods" fire.
When I got home this morning, about 25 miles S/SW there was no sign of it.
