Many years ago I sold off my S&W Model 13 3” 357 that’s the one and only gun I’ve ever regretted letting go. Now all my revolvers are Rugers a Wrangler 22, SP101 2.25” 357 and an SP101 3” 327 (my current edc gun), and two GP100‘s a 3” and a 4.2” both in 357. Whenever Dealers stock comes back a LCR, SP101 4” and Single Seven all in 327 is next on my list while I’m hoping Ruger comes out with a 2.25” SP101 in 327 as well. If Smith ever drops the Hillary hole I’ll add some Smith’s to my wheelgun collection but I despise that internal safety.
This summer, I hope to grab a Chief's Special in the family collection for myself. Also want a 3" barrel for my M65-4".
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 627 8-round N-Frame stainless steel 2.625-inch barrel .357 Magnum. It’s an absolute beast due to the large frame. It replaces a Charter Arms Bulldog Pug that I used during the 1970s but retired it in the 90s.
Beautiful collection of revolvers there, @medic68! I am quite partial to S&W wheelguns myself. Of the ones in your photo, I have three of them: 64-2 K-frame 2", 642 J-frame 2", and 66-1 K-frame 2.5". Well I *used* to have the 66-1, but my wife decided it was hers some years ago. Never gonna win that argument.
After I talked to my brother, he is close to passing away. Not sure who has access to his gun safe. I wanted his old chief special for a .45. not sure now, what will happen. SARS-CoVid-2.
I lost a buddy I've known since high school to it on the 14th. We'll keep a good thought for your brother's recovery. Hang tough!
I have a K-frame 65? with 4". It would be a nice piece with a 3" bbl. (I wish I had my old M19 2 1/2" still).
