    I have to agree the Fenix EO1 is a great key chain light that just keeps on running.

    I use the Fenix E05 daily. While not as robustly built as the E01, I've dropped that little light several times and it keeps on running. The extra levels of brightness make the E05 very useful.

    i love my ml.
    Using a cr123 battery and the thickness turns some people off. I think the size is fine for the output you get. Really good run times on low levels and a LOT of light on high when you need it.

    I've been carrying a IlluminaTi on my keychain daily for 2 years. Super bright and it still works perfect, has never given me any problems. The attachment point for the split ring is wearing thin though.

    I'll second the Illuminati. I bought one as soon as they were available and carried it every day up till about 12 months ago. It hardly looks used. The attachment point on mine is also extremely thin, but I don't think it's gotten any worse over time.

    Looks like Ill be the first to say it... I actually prefer the newest version of the LED Maglite Solitaire over the Fenix E01. I have both, the Fenix is only slightly smaller than the Maglite, but the Mag has a significantly better beam and tint. I also like the Maglite, in terms of screwing the head tighter to turn it off, Vs unscrewing it on the Fenix. All this being said, my Fenix does live on my keychain, for its durability. Im not sure the Maglite is as durable, though Ive had no problems with any of my 20+ year old ones either.

    Size comparison;

    Maglite beam on the left, Fenix on the right. (This is across about a 12' room, onto a medium gray painted wall);

    The new Maglite Solitaire LED is more comparable to the older E05, in my opinion.

    I'm going to toss in the nitecore tube into the mix. It replaced the rather excellent titanium thrunite Ti on the car keys but complaints were being made by the rest of the house about the weight of it. The tube is cheap, easily rechargeable chucks out 45 lumens and after a week or so it appears pretty tough. It's really lightweight (complaints have stopped anyway;);)) All that for £8? Bargain.

    I've got a DQG spy and it's good for the size but I'm finding it stiff and its getting through o rings quite quickly.

    I like the 4sevens AAA titanium Atom. Basically the Preon PO in Ti and sometimes available I believe in a highCRI emitter.

    La Petite Killer is the one and only. Match it up with a AAA Killer, and you have a set that is very cool.

    These will never be produced ever again, and even if someone tried the quality would be a million miles apart. These are part of flashlight history, with only a very few produced, the ones remaining in the hands of collectors should make them worth quite a bit of Money, and they command a premium, only one machinist was able to produce these, and they should not be sold for what they were purchased for, some things, yes, but not something like this...one of a kind never to be seen again.

    The hey day of custom lights is long over, we are in the Post-Custom Era. I say that as there are thousands and thousands of lights produced these days, and little to no custom makers. The custom makers have been around, no new makers really enter the field.

    Hang on to your la Petite Killers!
