Old meets new. Main body is black polyester with orange liner. Flap is an old canvas army kit bag on the outside (waxed) and 600D water proof nylon on the inside. This was made specifically as a bag for my Microsoft Surface Book. Very thin in normal use, but with an expandable front pocket if I need to take charger, mouse etc.
Very nice! I really think the whole tablet needs accessories things needs to have some ingenious solution worked up. There was a lot of really nice engineering / development back in the day w/ Fujitsu and their harsh environment cases and portfolio cases w/ attached straps and so forth, incl. a small bag for the charger --- need to revisit my collection and see what can be salvaged / repurposed for my new tablet (just upgraded from a Toshiba Encore 2 Write 10, which in turn was an upgrade from some other machines which were supposed to replace my Fujitsu Stylistic ST4121), a Samsung Galaxy Book 12.0
I know what you mean. The 2 parts of the changer, probaby weigh more than the Surface it self and are quite bulky.
Excellent bespoke solution to the Surface platform. It reminds me of the minimalist CFF Claymore Bag. Heck, it reminds me of the original Claymore bag.
Thanks. I have done Claymore type bags in the past as well. I may even try this one as a vertical bag, but with even less pockets and probably to look like the Indy Mk4 gas mask bag.
Here is the vertical version of it It is a thin bag with a full width pocket on the rear and ITW D Rings. It is 400x260mm.
