I have more faith in constructions similar to channellocks for maximising leverage/size (small jaw movement relative to hand movement, but you can pre-adjust the jaw opening), though the xgrip seems to have held up well except the wirecutter has open space. Probably the steel is soft or the engineering is inadequate. The grips are also painful to push hard. Probably going to get a tiny channellock with wirecutter (?) and a tiny folding scissor, and then some other loose tools, instead of trying to find a multitool.
