Hey gatorfan what are you using it for? Seems like it would benefit from a shoulder pad? Deff keeping an eye on these.

Summer time in Arizona for me means no backpack for edc. The H-T Bushcraft satchel gets used for EDC duty at work. My typical loadout is an 18 oz. HydroFlask, prescription sunglasses in a hard case, leather man, flashlight, small IFAK, iPhone 6S plus and charging cables, work ID on a neck lanyard, ZT 0450CF, lunch. I have a Defy Defender Workcase for more formal/professional needs.

Nice! Ya that's the way I would anticipate using it... messenger/satch.
    Cool thanks.

Check out the Red Oxx Gator. A little boxy but built like a tank. I also like the Tom Bihn Pilot but it is expensive.

I will second the KP Pursuing Sling bag. It will carry pretty much all the stuff Op mentioned. To add one more, the Nitecore NEB10 is also a nice flat sling bag similar to the chrome in fact. The only thing, and it might be a plus or not, it does have some laser molle on the outside. On the plus side it can be adapted to wear on both sides and cost about $50.
