Maybe you could store a needle. If it doesn't fit you could cut it down a bit. Not too sure what else you could store there.
Niffty idea, but I really can't think of anything since the area is really small. What kind and where did you find the capsule?
My first thought was drugs and then poison. But since you dont want that... I'll have to think for a while.
If you’re James Bond there’s a mini rocket in it. Or a fuse with wire, but without the explosive. Since you’re probably not JB you could put something like a mini portion of eye-wash saline in there (do you wear contact lenses?), or nose drops (do you get a cold often?). Or something fine-grained (magnesia pieces for outdoor fire making, salt/pepper/sugar for urban café survival).
If those are useable inside dimensions, one idea: cut down a .15" x 2" ferro rod to 3/4" length. Would require bit of creativity to grip and use rod that small, but could be done. Keeping with the firemaking theme ... magnesium shavings or a TinderQuik or PJ cottonball cut to size.
a few pepper corns or some salt, perhaps even (dangerous!) capcaicin. or redo the cap doubly threaded so you can reverse it to reveal some tool...
