    Vanity, sure.
There's no way around it. Blasted/stonewashed/brushed titanium just appeals to me.
I'm quite satisfied with the gear I have already, but I would probably spend the money if I could find the "right" titanium light.

I prefer AAA lights with a warmer tint emitter and button activation. My most carried light in 2018 is by far the Lumintop Tool Ti w/ Nichia emitter. It has its quirks, but size, weight and output make it a great EDC light that is never to bulky to carry. The tail button is a bit too exposed, and it sometimes activates in my pocket, but not as often as my twisties. I think a equally good or slightly better light in a matt titanium finish would be a nice addition to my EDC, but the ones I have found are high end / semi customs in the hundreds of dollar range. That's not happening, so if anyone know an affordable alternative that I've missed, I'll be very interested to hear about it.

Define "affordable". Sounds to me like you'd be better served having your Ti Tool beadblasted. BTW, the Ti Tool is my backup EDC light..my go to is a Thorfire TS-07 (now out of production, to my chagrin).

preferably not far north of 100 USD. It's not like I need to buy something or there is a fixed limit on my budget. I'm just curious as to what is available. If I buy it, is ultimately down to how much I like the product. If I find something, there is a big chance I have to order it from the US or some other foreign country, so with import taxes and fees it quickly adds up.
Well, yes, but not sure I can get it done at a reasonable price.

The problem is that not many make an AAA light with a switch in the first place and then much less in a Ti option of any kind.
A rear switch just makes the light too long usually, like the Tool for me and a side switch adds girth and has to be electronic too.

Most want the aaa light to be small more than any other feature it seems so you are left with almost no choices at all.

The Preon in Ti was just OK but the switch cold be wonky and the light with switch was just a tiny Penlight more than anything else really.
Same for the Thrunite T5ti which was also polished and not blasted too.

All of the other aaa lights I can think of are that have a switch are not Ti at all.

The smallest switched Ti light that I can think of is the Eageltac D25A Clicky in Ti which is an AA light,is not really blasted but does have a lot of knurling so it is not just smooth polish either and is a great light for sure!

The Olight S Mini is also offered in blasted Ti and has a side switch but is a 123 light but is :censored: tiny too!

Otherwise I am afraid you would need to go to a true custom light like the Tain or Okoluma to get what you want.

It can be frustrating fo sure.

The smallest switched Ti light is the Ti tool AAA. OP already has that & prefers AAA lights per opening post.

Thank you, @EZDog , that was a very thorough reply!

I could add that my preferences are not mandatory atributes to a light, just minor details that I have come to prefer over others.
I´m very hesitant to move to a larger power source, I have the Olight S1R and a Maratac AA titanium light, and both are significantly more bulky in the pocket than the AAAs, so all though I won´t rule out any flashlight based on power source alone, I´m more willing to saccerifice other preferences like for instance the switch. Would my list of options improve much if we just say: "small flashlight, preferably AAA" ;)

Yes and I am pretty sure my post reflects that I understand that too?

So because there are so few other options in aaa I went beyond that, make sense now?

Or do you know of any other non-custom aaa lights in blasted Ti with a switch?

No...it did not seem that you had noticed that AAA had been specified. , so I tried to keep the thread on topic. It was not my intent to cause any ill will. I'm not aware of any non-custom Ti lights that feature a tailswitch and matte finish, thus my original recommendation to beadblast his current light, which would probably cost less than the $100 figure OP was willing to spend

Well I started off talking about the lack of aaa lights within his parameters so......

But regardless it is a frustrating part of the market I think that there are few aaa lights that offer a switch at all much less in a Ti finish that does not shine.
I have a Preon that does and I have an Atom that has no switch but otherwise is a fine little light with both a Ti finish and 219b emitter.
I have a Sapphire which also has it all except for the switch and regardless of what McGizmo suggests is just not enough light for me a lot of the time.

I had forgotten about that Manker too and there is a decent review showing it in a lineup with other popular lights and it looks like a real possibility to me.

Anyway no harm, no foul but thanks for saying so.

I just noticed that https://www.everydaycommentary.com/ actually published a review on this light just a few days ago.
In the comment section there are rumors of a NIchia 219 version coming out this year. It might not be the answer to this quest, but compelling enough that I'll probably give it a go.

Olight s1rii, it has 123 but is rechargeable so it doesnt matter. They knocked it out the park on this one. 5 weeks of moderate use and still no need to charge it yet!
