    Wow, great progress already. Those initial designs look cool. I like the flip table you made for the grinder too. You said you didn't want to start with a folder... Why not try a friction folder? That way you don't have to worry about a spring or lock or anything fancy. Just a neat blade and a cool handle. You could always get a cheap friction folder and disassemble to get ideas and then remake it your own way. Some of the guys on here have had good success with making scales for the svord knives.

    I actually love friction folders! I would love to make one, and they are on my list. But, I figured the fixed blade would be a good place to start...then maybe a hatchet or two...maybe even a karambit...what? vegassprky

    IG is definitely sometimes a little strange, I don't spend much time there anymore.

    Like the shape of that knife SMAJ looking forward to some progress pics.

    Copper pry bar is looking good as well. I love mine.
