Im looking for a non-tactical sling bag to carry to the office. I have the Tom Bihn Synapse 25, and honestly I am carrying much less than I was. Im looking for something that will hold my iPad Pro, mini FAK, and CCW (Shield 9mm). Im keeping the synapse in my truck for if I need a larger bag, but I have a desk job and looking to lighten my load a good bit. What sling packs do you recommend? I was looking at the Patagonia Atom.
3V Gear "Privy" would be a suggestion. I carry my G43, one reload, TQ, and an Ipad in mine with room to spare.
I don’t have one, but Man-Packs have some models specifically designed for CCW and to look more urban professional. Vanquest also has an urban series to look less tactical and can convert from sling to backpack.
I have the Carbide-8. It’s well-suited for office or casual carry and covers your requirements for being ccw capable and large enough for the iPad Pro, mini FAK and other gear. One con may be the price. At $104.99, it’s almost twice as much as the Patagonia Atom.
Big fan of anything timbuk 2. Plus you can customize and get any color you want . Not sure about a pistol pocket. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
I’ve long wanted a Nutsac but really didn’t have an articulable “need” for one, though I’ve never really let that stop me lol. My intention for this bag is to be a “dressy” edc bag for nice dinners or whatever. Main duty will be a church bag which is how it is displayed here. Glock 43 inside of a small 5.11 pouch to pass the “security” check. My iPad Air 4 fits in the outside rear pocket. Not tactical but this Tacsac 13 has tactical functionality without the “there’s a gun in here” look. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I EDC a TACSAC 11. Been using their bags for years. I really like that 511 pouch you’re using. Which pouch is it?
It’s just their 6x6 pouch. They make a slightly padded version too which is cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Have a look at the Greenroom136 single strap offerings... Tough as nails, I've got two metro mongers as well as the runner and drifter. They do custom colours and alterations too...
