I wish I had your skills! This stuff is amazing, I have been looking for a while today at homemade pouches and none of them were that spectacular, except for this. Very well done, if only you decided to come around these parts and accidentally forget one of them...

Funny you dug this out. I just made a sling pack that is really inspired from this bag and the first time i saw it. Love the center zipper syne'. jma78

Very nice work! The first pack reminds me of my hill people gear tarahumara. The vertical zip works great! Again, very nice packs you are making!

    Thanks guys!

Yeah, the construction of the pack is different, but that vertical zipper does give it the same look as HPG Tarahumara has. So after i had finished the pack and realized it´s resemblance, i actually contacted HPG; I send them a picture of the pack and told them that although it´s a different kind of pack than theirs, it still looks the same, and asked if they are cool with it. Their reply was; "We appreciate the courtesy and heads up. That is a good looking pack, and I can see where some folks will see similarities, but there is only so many ways to skin a cat, and the fact you had enough concern to hit us up shows us where you stand on things"

    That was cool of them
