A couple months ago, I bought Sleepphones (the ones above) and have bn using them w. my MP3 to help get to sleep and during the night, get back to sleep. Very good.

Basically a polar-fleece head band (ski-band), w. flat ear phones built in.
Each earphone is in 2” by 2” double layer of felt, w, electronics sandwiched in between.
Very comfortable (previously tried earbuds for sleeping, and found uncomfortable, fell out, too).

Can easily adjust earphone placement. The cable/wire is about 40” long.
Remove earphones & cable from headband for laundering.

Music & sound quality? Not a good judge of that, so no comment beyond good from my POV.

CD (Music for Dreams, Vol. 1) from same web store helps too.
Solo piano music, w. tracks becoming slower tempo, and lower volume,
About a dozen other sleep-enhancing albums there too.

The product was shipped promptly. Shipping charges were reasonable.

Disclosure: no affiliation w. co or special pricing. Just regular retail pricing.

Very cool. Are they comfy if you lay on your side so that one earphone is between your ear and the pillow?

Yes, as I lay on my side w. my head on the pillow, the sleepphones are very comfy.

No plastic "plug" jamming in my ear. Or as happens w. 'regular' earphones, falling out of my ear.
Not a lump or bump against the side of my head.
Best way I can describe is -- like wearing a ski-band.
Or same sensation as if you laid a sock (a clean one ;)) flat on your pillow.
and then put your head on that to sleep.

Go to sleepphones.com for the pix.

They come in a couple sizes -- the band part --too. So check sizes before ordering.

The phones look nicer than the ones I've seen in the past, it's about time someone made a quality set!

It doesn't seem to say it outright on the site but it looks like they're using binaural beats in the music, which I can attest to working pretty well. Isochronics may be better for those with damaged hearing or just can't stand the headphones, works just as well with a speaker as it doesn't depend on stereo separation. Lots of free downloads of both types out there.
