Leather tag -> keychain spacer. Any other good use for those tags?

Did you slice a Munroe dangler in half??

I sliced a Chinese Munro clone in half haha :p Hated the bottle opener and it kept snagging on my pocket during insertion.

That's a fine idea. Might just have to "borrow" that idea myself. ;)

Be my guest :D It's honestly so great. .99 cents from China and 15 minutes with a grinder and a file. It still prys off Mexican Coke caps using the Bic lighter method. Now it's no longer a clone of the Munroe either so there's no guilt. I see dangler clips and pry bars on everybodies keychain, this combines them into one :D

At that point, and that size, you could probably just put that key in your wallet, thus removing any keychain from your rotation.
That's what I did a while ago. Slap the key in my then halo wallet and then put a plastic fob on it for easy retrieval. Now, I'm obsessed with keychains.

    Times change, eh?

This is what I ended up with so far. Car/gate/house keys + Vic Huntsman (I prefer the MacGyver style to the Alox ones) + Fenix E12 (love it now, but first I hated the fact it doesn't remember last setting) + small BIC lighter + bunch of small carabiners from eBay + two key rings with paracord and clip. Although I often put the lighter on my EDC bag (and the car/gate keys away when not driving) so it doesn't mess inside my pants pocket. :)

Very good I thought first before posting (for once). My keychain is just a few threads up. It could've been here again ... LOL. I love beer btw! :D

Did you do the key like that yourself? I wish someone would make key blanks like that for us EDC nuts. :p

Yep. It started with a typical black plastic top. I hammered the black plastic off. Then used a grinder wheel to trim all excess metal. Then drilled a hole. Then very lightly rubbed on concrete to give it that beat up finish. Very easy! I have no real skills with tools :p

My weekender setup. Griffin is quite handy I've found, although I prefer my other bottle opener. Link is just a 1/8" screw type.
