I've been looking around for a legal folder and saw the Liong Mah on Heinnie. Done a search on here.. Up pops guess who? Lol. Anyway.. Do you know if your 'design 5' the same as the Heinnie one? Edit: Doh! I just zoomed the Heinnie and it says Design # 5 on the blade! It seems I've gone thru the same process looking for a legal knife and come up with the same one. Having said that, others that have the same look are all into triple figures as far as I can see. Edit 2. Ok. Just looked back on your thread and I even asked you about the dang knife when you got it! Blame it on age. Is it still performing as you'd like it to?
Lol! Yeah it's the #5, I got from heinnies too. I'm a light user, and its still sharp as a sharp thing. It's nice having a pointy blade sometimes and this is so slim it's hardly noticeable. One thing ill say though is the handles are smooth, and the clip doesn't exert a lot of pressure so I've been a little worried about it falling out of my pocket. It's a great looking knife, not so tactical that the police would immediately have a fit but not as innocuous as a SAK (though I do love all mine), well ok, maybe I'd like to replace the key chain classic with something else.
Does the steel retain the colour that you see when you stop heating or does it change to different colours as if cools?
These are the titanium scales, the steel won't colour like this. But the Ti stayed pretty much where I stopped heating, but changes quickly on the way up.

Just had my new watch delivered, my first g shock (pics later). One thing that struck me. G shocks are meant to be tough, so why was mine delivered with an airbag outside the box, a cardboard inner box, a metal tin and copious amounts of foam protecting the watch!?!?!
Another day another mod. I bought a Tom Anderson pen a while ago and although I like the pen, the GITD insert is a complete waste of time. So I bought a fishing "isotope" and fitted it in place of the GITD marker. The 'tope is no flashlight but its much better than the GITD. But the blade has a sharp corner where it shuts flush with the spring, which will no doubt play havoc with pockets. Time to get the leather out...
