I've been looking around for a legal folder and saw the Liong Mah on Heinnie. Done a search on here.. Up pops guess who? Lol. Anyway.. Do you know if your 'design 5' the same as the Heinnie one?

Edit: Doh! I just zoomed the Heinnie and it says Design # 5 on the blade! It seems I've gone thru the same process looking for a legal knife and come up with the same one. Having said that, others that have the same look are all into triple figures as far as I can see.

Edit 2. Ok. Just looked back on your thread and I even asked you about the dang knife when you got it! Blame it on age. Is it still performing as you'd like it to?

    Lol!

Yeah it's the #5, I got from heinnies too. I'm a light user, and its still sharp as a sharp thing. It's nice having a pointy blade sometimes and this is so slim it's hardly noticeable.
One thing ill say though is the handles are smooth, and the clip doesn't exert a lot of pressure so I've been a little worried about it falling out of my pocket. Although I could re-tension the clip a bit.

It's a great looking knife, not so tactical that the police would immediately have a fit but not as innocuous as a SAK (though I do love all mine), well ok, maybe I'd like to replace the key chain classic with something else. :p

Does the steel retain the colour that you see when you stop heating or does it change to different colours as if cools?

These are the titanium scales, the steel won't colour like this. But the Ti stayed pretty much where I stopped heating, but changes quickly on the way up.

At work, so thought I'd go through my work bag. But then I looked at the sky and it was a beautiful shade of blue so I thought I'd swap from my winter bag to my summer.

I've been using this Wenger bag through the winter, and its been great. Loads of room for winter gear.

    This is what I've carried:

There are a few items not shown, like my ipad and mifi hub, and I've already taken the gloves out.

So I'm paring this down and swapping over to my 5.11 MOAB10. I do love this bag, the built in organisation is fantastic.

    Here's the admin pouch.

And the mesh pockets. I'm debating whether or not to drop the hard drive, I rarely need it.

And the rear clamshell, lunch box and ipad (in Hazard4 launch pad sleeve).

Towel for those summer showers lives in the hydration sleeve.

The all important buff and handsfree

And finally my SAK and zippo live in the CCW compartment.

No beanie, no handcream, no lighter fluid or zippo hand warmer. It must mean that temperatures (and skirt hemlines) are rising :)

Nothing wrong with that. Thomas Edison has a pretty extensive scrap pile. :)

Just had my new watch delivered, my first g shock (pics later).

One thing that struck me. G shocks are meant to be tough, so why was mine delivered with an airbag outside the box, a cardboard inner box, a metal tin and copious amounts of foam protecting the watch!?!?!

    Another day another mod.

I bought a Tom Anderson pen a while ago and although I like the pen, the GITD insert is a complete waste of time.

So I bought a fishing "isotope" and fitted it in place of the GITD marker. The 'tope is no flashlight but its much better than the GITD.

Not posted for a while, a few personal things to iron out. But back with a new lens to play with and some new sharps too.

Which is smaller than I imagined. Pretty nice though.

    What's this?

    Untitled by Simon_Knight73, on Flickr

    It's got wood!

    It's an Enzo PK70

Which is very nice, good strong lock up and the fit and finish is very good. But the blade has a sharp corner where it shuts flush with the spring, which will no doubt play havoc with pockets. Time to get the leather out...

Got a new light too, Maratac AAA in polished steel. Very impressed with this, now I realise what everyone was shouting about.

Haven't updated this for a while - too much going on. But have got some new kit so will sit myself down with iPad and camera and update properly soon.

Got a few prezzies to myself recently, currently pocketing my trusty Vic Alox Farmer but have augmented it with...

A Lummi stainless bead with green trits

Same order I got a Wee SS (100 lumens) with blue trits

To go with the Quantum DD I got from SAKplumber (with blue trits)
