Really a great photograph - colors, composition, expressions, everything. I keep returning to it because It lifts my mood. Good job to all participants.

Thanks Man, coming from a photographer that’s high praise. I’ll let my wife know

Thanks to the development of highly automated and increasingly sophisticated photo gear, many more amateur photographers (and non-photographers!) can achieve fine results without getting bogged down with the technicalities of the craft. That has greatly expanded the pool of those with the talent but not the training. Your wife has a good eye for composition, which is always the main thing in photography, so my compliments to her (it doesn't hurt to have good subject matter :) .) Similarly, my wife, who has no interest or knowledge of photo tech, also takes great pictures with her auto-everything camera. On the other hand, it's been hard on business. A number of my clients have stopped calling on me for their photo needs (casual, like newsletters and such, although I still do their promo stuff) because they can get "good enough" results in house. I'm feeling like a teamster at the beginning of the 20th century as trucks were replacing horses for commercial hauling. I spent a lifetime learning a craft that, basically, is no longer a craft. But I love good pictures from whatever the source - amateur, professional, and even accidental. :D

My EDC beard progress after 2+ weeks. I had a trimming mishap with my clippers a couple weeks back and got aggravated to the point of just shaving it all off. It'll grow back bigger, better, faster, stronger... I hope, lol. :throwball:

Probably. When I first tried growing a beard when I started college (back when dinosaurs walked the Earth...), it came in just spotty. I went through 3 cycles. From that point on, no issues. I've had my beard now for over 30 years.... :)
