Reminds me of an old Klein Electricians knife my dad has had on his workbench for decades. Found it in the parking lot of the steel mill he worked in.

Yeah it's a Craftsman Electrician's knife. Bought it new in the 70s. Never failed me. As you can see, I beat it pretty good.

To me, more appealing than the nice and shiny ones. Loved and used...

You can still find these available; Amazon for instance. I could have sworn I'd seen them at Home Depot with other electrical tools at some point in the last year but the HD website doesn't show them...?!?

Just do a Google search if interested.

I don't have a picture handy, but my work knife is a slim Personna Pro Utility knife. The blades snap-off in sections as you use them. 99.99% of the time, I need something to cut open boxes/packages or break boxes down. It an all metal-body utility knife that looks sharp, no pun intended. Refills are readily available.

Leatherman CORE a coworker gave me years ago. Comes in handy when I’m not in my work bay or offsite.[IMG]

At last, there is calm at my workplace. No longer chaos, on improvised conversions with far too long ways to the next (looted ) tool box. Today I took the beginning of a new era in my workplace as a reason to replace my very hard-used knife. I kept the old handles and spring and riveted them with two almost new blades. My old, new, light work knife for hopefully many good years.

I recently wanted to saw openings in oil tanks but the saw blades were mysteriously gone.
Fortunately there was still a SAK. Mark, pre-drilled with the awl and sawn out. Worked surprisingly well. :)

There are some items that aren't on the Home Depot website that are stocked in individual stores at the store manager's discretion.
